| The Fralsam © takes all the good characteristics from it's parent trees, the Balsam and the Fraser. It has excellent needle retention. It is late budding and misses any early spring frost and is resistant to disease and insects. Also, it grows 10 to 20% more buds than parent trees, therefore filling out to a very full tree with a very pretty blue silvery color and dense needle cover. Weir Tree Farm played a major role in developing this hybrid. | ||
